You need to engage as many people in the process as possible without losing sight of the real goal. We tell you how.
You can register an unlimited number of projects with the CSR Register.
1. Keep it manageable in size. If you want someone to build your a new sports hall great - we'll give it a go. But then maybe make the driveway, gardens, sports equipment etc. all separate projects. We can group them at this end. Think about packaging a great project for us to promote for you. Think bite-sized chunks.
2. Think about the project as a stand-alone. How can a group of people arrive on day one and leave later with the best buzz imaginable.
3. How will you get the most from a team of volunteers. What can you offer them in terms of publicity, energy, ideas, enthusiasm.
4. Sell yourselves with energy and enthusiasm too. If you get contacted make sure you know about the project, that you can talk about the aims and objectives and that you share the goals and see the benefits to everyone involved.
4.5 Put your self in the shoes of the donor company. What makes your project exciting and interesting. Why would you want to do this project?
Give a group or team or related people task and they will either fail miserably or gain the most amazing buzz from their achievements.
Achieve the latter and not only does your business win, but also your brand, your people and everything else you're involved with starts to take-off.
